Mr. Bowen (Leadership Teacher)
Hi, I’m Mr. Bowen. I started teaching at DVHS in 2008 (15 years and counting as a Wildcat) and the 2023/2024 school year will be my 12th year teaching leadership at DVHS. I love cycling, running, traveling, barbequing (is that a verb?) and I am really passionate helping people become better versions of themselves. I love my fam a whole lot and am excited to have 2 kids at DV this year. I often say that everyone is either going through something, just went through something, or is about to go through something, and with that it mind I try to treat folks well.

CLASS ADVISORS
Class advisors are teachers who work closely with their assigned grade level to provide support, supervision, and mentorship. They like snacks, being asked to do things rather than told, and always appreciate a kind note or “thank you.”
Mr. Worley (12th Grade Advisor)
On most days you'll find Mr. Worley hanging out with his 2 kids, reading a good book, or cooking a meal for friends and family.
Mr. Addiego (10th Grade Advisor)
He likes to golf and play soccer. Enjoys spending time with his family and being a jungle gym for his two nephews. Likes long walks to the fridge and hates scary movies.
Mrs. Oji + Mrs. Castro Benevides (11th Grade Advisors)
Mrs. Oji loves to travel and wants to visit every country in the world. She also enjoys live music, seeing movies in theaters, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Castro Benevides’ favorite everything is Disney! She loves spending time with her husband, Nick, in Disneyland, collecting Disney Loungefly backpacks, Disneybounding whenever she can, decorating her house with Disney merch, and listening to Disney music as much as possible. Mindy loves Mexican Food! All of it! She has 2 dogs, Daisy and Presley, and a Guinea Pig, Bowie. She also loves to play Fortnite and Lego video games!
Mr. Parks (9th Grade Advisor)
This is Mr. Parks' 15th year at DVHS and first year as a class advisor. He is also the advisor for Academic Leadership, Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA) and the Assistant Coach for Track and Field. He enjoys board games, video games, and hanging out with his two children, Calvin and Theodosia.
