3/28 UPDATE: Accepted Leadership candidates were notified via school email at 4pm on 3/28. If you did not receive an email, unfortunately you were not added to the roster.

This year, our program had a record number of applications and for that reason, we weren't able to accept every qualified applicant. This decision is not a reflection of your capability and accomplishments. We truly hope that you'll apply again in the future if you're able to and that you keep demonstrating your interest on and off of Dougherty's campus.

PLEASE DO NOT reach out to Mr. Bowen, ASB, admin regarding these roster decisions.

Spirit Week Check In’s // 2.12.24 - 2.16.24

Show up for the rally after school on Friday, 2/16 at 1:45 and deck on in your class color. FYI: There WILL NOT be a check in on Friday.

  • Friday: “Friendship Friday” class colors:

    • FRESHMAN (PURPLE)

    • SOPHOMORES (RED)

    • JUNIORS (WHITE)

    • SENIORS (PINK)

LEADERSHIP BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

Leadership students are expected to abstain from drugs, alcohol, and illegal behavior. The school board has policy regarding Leadership students (referred to in the policy as “co-curricular activity participants) behavior on and off campus. Read the policy here. We have had Leadership students face discipline in the past and it is disruptive and detrimental to the class’ goals. If you cannot follow this policy, please do not apply.

INTERVIEW INFO

Interview details:

  • Interviews take place in CT102 (Leadership room)

  • BE ON TIME

  • All interviews are up to 6 minutes in length.

  • If you were schedule for an Access interview, you DO NOT need a physical pass. Your name will be added to the digital Access excusal list that is shared with teachers. After your interview you may return to class.

INTERVIEW TIMES MAY CONTINUE TO CHANGE UNTIL 7PM ON 2/20.

Do not check the interview schedule before 3pm on 2/16/24.
